AnandTech has the skinny on how _incompatible_ the current LGA-775
mainboards are with the new Core 2 processors, as well as various
commentary on stability issues in his Part I article:

In other words, wait for at least mid-August -- when the processors are
available in retail -- to buy mainboards.
