Storefront retail _always_ lags mailorder by 3+ months.  When Socket-939
hit, I couldn't find anything at Vegas' Fry's even 6 months after
release!

But NewEgg could ship it to me next day.  ;->

I _rarely_ buy retail, with few exceptions.
