[Pc_Support] "Not enough resources" on fresh Windows 2000 install?

OK, found some other drivers for the video card.  I installed them and
now it's saying that there's it needs to use the following memory ranges
but can't:
FD000000 - FDFFFFFF
FEA00000 - FEBFFFFF
FED00000 - FEDFFFFF

Does that mean that its trying to use memory that isn't there so stops
working?

BTW I tried setting the BIOS to PnP mode - it booted up to the login
prompt, but as soon as it logged in it locked up hard the first time it
tried to play audio (as it happened from a warning that the date was
incorrect), I had to physically turn it off as it didn't even have the
courtesy to blue-screen.
