Actually I have a Dell Inspiron 3800 with a deal SoDIMM slot.  I thought 
it was my 128MB module, so I ran with 32MB for a while while waiting for a 
new 128MB module to arrive.

Windows 2000 SP3 ran, but wow was it nearly 100% useless.  Did manage to 
get it to play back XviD, though. :)
