will there be a performance hit using the 8k 3ware on the pci slot?

If the performance hit is unacceptable I am getting an error when i try
to setup software raid1 on the server which i'll post in another thread
if the 3ware option is unacceptable performance wise.

My "Foundation" verse:
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and
every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
