OK, my router's control interface specifically says 11b and 11g, which
is good to know. It has an option for an "extended range" feature which
is currently enabled and I'm getting a link quality of 40-55% and a
signal strength of 55%.
So what do you guys think of my chances of boosting the connection if I
upgraded to an 11g NIC?
Also, have any of you tried wpa_supplicant?
(http://hostap.epitest.fi/wpa_supplicant/) Its a n OSS WPA/WPA2 daemon
that runs on Linux, BSD and Windows. Looks interesting, I think I'll
give it a try myself.
