A good question before you proceed is, do you have the proper bit to remove the screws on the board? Most Western Digital drives use a six-point star bit with a pretty flat tip to remove a screw with a very flat head. And it's hard to find this bit (I don't have one and I've searched), so it's hard to get these screws off. I use a small lock wrench from Sears, and carefully (lots of time and patience!) and slowly nudge them off. Mind the wrench's jaw doesn't scratch the tracings on the board!
And if you have one of those bits, where the heck did you get it?
