I toyed with the idea of getting a 650, but heard some real horror stories
about reception, etc. from people I knew who had them.  In fact, my local
cell provider is refusing to even carry the new 700 because the 650 bombed
so badly.

I opted for the Audiovox 6600 (the 6700 is not available to any providers
in my area yet, and won't be for at least another 6 months, and I didn't
want to wait that long).
