Perhaps that's all the R5 Fusion marketing speak is for the 7x5(0|x)? series 
is, but it doubled my write performance to around 40MB/s from about 15-20MB/s 
on my 7810.  For a home user, I think that's probably acceptable performance 
across four disk RAID 5 for PATA?
