The 7x00/7x10 is same logic core as the 7x50/750x series.
It just has half the SRAM (1MB instead of 2MB).
The 750x-12 has 4MB of SRAM.

You typically don't want to run heavy RAID-5 on anything but the latest
9500S series anyway.

But I agree, $200 for an older 7810 probably isn't work it.
