I've passed the buck on this one.  I forwarded your comments along with
my own findings (which basically supported your experiences) to the VP
who will decide what to do.  I'm definitely out of my depth on this one,
they'll probably contract the IT guru they used to have working here to
fix it, I don't feel comfortable enough to even consider touching it.
